Practise Amazon interview questions.
Free practice for Amazon SDE, PM, and EM interviews. Leadership-principle behavioural prep, system-design back-of-envelope estimation, MCQ library, and real Amazon interview write-ups.
What the Amazon loop actually looks like.
Amazon's loop has its own grammar: every round (technical or otherwise) is graded against the 16 Leadership Principles. Bar Raisers ask LP questions in the middle of a coding round. SDE loops include coding + system design; SDM loops swap coding for behavior + management depth.
Coding rounds
Algorithms, data structures, occasionally OO design. LP questions woven in throughout — "tell me about a time you..." mid-coding is normal.
System design (SDE II+)
Practical and component-focused: caching layers, queues, idempotency, retries. Capacity estimation expected.
Bar Raiser
An interviewer from outside the team whose job is to keep the bar high. Heavily LP-anchored.
Leadership Principles (every round)
Customer Obsession, Ownership, Bias for Action, Dive Deep — bring 2–3 specific stories per principle.
Topics Amazon interviewers lean on.
Practise the languages Amazon screens on
What separates offers from rejections at Amazon.
- 1
Memorise the 16 LPs. Map two stories per principle. Without these you cannot pass.
- 2
For Bar Raiser, bring your sharpest, highest-impact story.
- 3
On system design, walk through capacity early — it's a signal for Dive Deep.
- 4
STAR-format your behaviorals: Situation → Task → Action → Result. Result with a number.
Train the muscle, not the answer.
Free unlimited MCQs, AI-graded guesstimate practice, and a tutor that explains anything. The same platform candidates from Amazon use to prep.
Round-format and topic claims are sourced from the public interview-prep press above. We refresh these as companies update their loops.
