Screening developers is guesswork until someone answers something.
A CV does not tell you who can answer a question
Everyone lists the same eight languages. You find out who actually knows one on a call you already paid an engineer's hour for.
The first screen is the expensive one
It is the round with the most people in it. Anything that removes obviously unprepared applicants before an engineer joins a call pays for itself fast.
You cannot see what the test asks
Every screening vendor sells you a score from a question bank you are not allowed to read. You are asked to trust the number and the brand behind it.
Sign-up to a live test link, in three steps.
Build the test
Pick the languages, the difficulty mix and the length, from 5 to 50 questions, with a time limit between 5 minutes and 2 hours. It takes about a minute.
Send it
Share one link, or email the invites and have each attempt tracked back to the person you sent it to. One attempt per invite, unless you grant a retake.
Read the scores
Each submission is graded on our server the moment it lands. You see the score, the time taken and which questions were missed. Candidates see detailed results, score only, or nothing, whichever you choose.
This is what your candidate actually sees.
Pick a language and answer one. Same screen, same feel, on a phone or a laptop. Judge the question standard for yourself before you put your name on an invite.
What does useEffect primarily handle?
Every other vendor sells you a score from a bank you cannot see. Read half of ours right now.
You can read the practice bank and the exact grading rubric before you pay. The questions we actually send your candidates come from a separate sealed set that is never published, and every candidate gets a different draw.
The practice half is public
- Questions on open URLs, with the worked explanation and the exact grading rubric.
- No account needed to read it. No paywall on the rubric.
- So you can judge whether the questions are any good before you spend a rupee.
The test half is sealed
- Recruiter tests draw only from questions we never publish.
- Not on a public page, not in the sitemap, not in the practice browser.
- Every candidate gets a different draw, so two people on one test do not sit the same paper.
What that does not buy you
- It stops a candidate finding your exact paper. It is not anti-cheat.
- They can still search the concept, ask an AI, or ask a friend.
- There is no webcam, no screen recording and no browser lockdown here, on purpose.
Scores, not a reporting suite.
This is a small product and the results screen is a small screen. Here is the whole of it, and the gaps, on the same page.
- A score for every candidate the moment they submit
- Time taken on the attempt, measured by our server clock
- A per-question breakdown of what they missed
- A live leaderboard for the test, if you want one
- Email invites tracked back to the attempt
- Candidate-facing results you control: detailed, score only, or nothing
- A per-candidate PDF or exportable report. Not built. No date promised.
- An ATS integration. Not built.
- Bulk CSV invite. Not built.
- Any kind of proctoring or cheat report. Not built, and not planned.
If a per-candidate report is what you need this quarter, buy TestGorilla. We would rather you read that here than find it out after paying us.
A real free plan, and a price you can read.
The free plan lets you create 5 tests a calendar month, and each test takes as many candidates as you like. Paid tiers raise that limit. They do not unlock reports, integrations or branding, because none of those are built.
The price is printed
Free is ₹0 forever. The paid recruiter tiers are ₹499 and ₹1,999 a month, in rupees, on a public page. You do not have to talk to anyone to find that out.
Monthly, no annual lock
Billing is month to month and you cancel from your own profile. There is no annual contract, no seat minimum, and no onboarding fee.
No sales call
There is no demo to book and nobody will chase you. Sign up, use the free plan, and upgrade only if it is already useful.
Inspect before you pay
The practice bank and every grading rubric are readable now, without an account, so you can price the risk yourself.
The reasons you might not want this.
Better you read them here than discover them after you have paid.
Multiple choice only
A recruiter test here is single and multiple choice. There is no coding sandbox and no AI-graded written answer inside a recruiter test. If you need a live coding round, this does not replace it.
Eight languages for tests
JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, React, HTML, CSS and C++. The free practice bank covers more, but a recruiter test can only draw from those eight.
No proctoring, on purpose
No webcam, no screen recording, no browser lockdown, no tab-switch report. A score here is a first filter, not a supervised exam result.
Custom questions are not self-serve
You can have your own multiple-choice questions in the bank, but you send them to us and we add them. There is no editor for it yet.
It is early
This is a small product with a short list of features and a public list of gaps. If the free plan is not already useful to you, a paid plan will not be either.
Practising for your own interview? Start here, free.
The practice product is the half of the bank we publish. Reading it is free and needs no account, worked explanations and grading rubrics included. Recruiters get a separate sealed set, so nothing you revise here is the paper you would later sit.
Capacity, cost, and market sizing: the structured-thinking questions Google, Meta, Amazon, and McKinsey actually ask. Type your reasoning, get a 0-100 score in seconds.
JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, React, HTML, CSS, C++ and more. Filter by topic and difficulty, track what you've solved, get explanations on every answer.
Stuck? Ask a follow-up and our AI tutor walks you through it, anchored to that exact question rather than a generic explanation.
Wrong answers come back on a schedule instead of disappearing. Your dashboard keeps a per-topic accuracy record so you know which language to spend the next twenty minutes on.
One curated question every day. Build a streak. Five minutes a day, sharper thinking by the end of the month.
Written guides to the loops at Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Meta, Flipkart, and Cars24: the rounds, the topics, and the questions to prepare. Filter by company, region, difficulty, and topic.
Send a real test before you pay for one.
The free plan covers 5 tests a calendar month, with as many candidates on each as you like. No card, and nobody will call you.
