Why this exists.
Journey Uncommon helps busy developers sharpen their logic and their coding speed through short questions across React, JavaScript, Python and more. Each session takes minutes. The point is that they add up.
Most interview-prep sites hide the questions until you pay or sign up, so the first time you see the format is under pressure. Here the practice bank, its explanations and its grading rubrics are public before you attempt anything. You should be able to judge whether this is any good without handing over an email address first.
There is one set we do not publish. Recruiters use this platform to screen candidates, and those tests draw from a separate sealed set of questions that never appears on a public page, with a different draw for every candidate. It is written to the same rubric as the public half, which is what makes reading the public half a fair sample. The full explanation is on how our tests work.
Written here, not bought in.
The questions, the worked explanations and the grading rubrics are written and reviewed in-house. They are not licensed from a question vendor and not scraped from other sites. That is why we can put the practice bank in front of you before you attempt any of it: we know what is in it.
It also means mistakes are ours. A question with a wrong answer key, an explanation that skips a step, a rubric that marks the wrong thing: these happen, and when one is reported we fix it rather than argue. The same applies to anything we claim on this site. If a claim turns out to be wrong, it gets corrected or deleted, not quietly reworded.
